Terms and conditions

These terms cover camo-rentals.com and the requests you send us. Camo Rentals (“we”, “us”) rents economy cars, all-wheel-drive SUVs and an RV in Reno, Nevada, with hand-offs at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) or a Reno-area spot you choose.

By using this site or sending us a request, you agree to these terms. If anything we confirm with you for your rental differs from this page, what we confirm with you applies.

How we handle what you send us is covered in our privacy policy.

Send a reservation request from any page (choose Reserve) or our contact form, or call or email us. A request tells us what you need. It isn’t a booking.

• Nothing is booked until we confirm availability, your vehicle and the deposit details with you.
• Sending a request doesn’t charge your card.
• We reply the way you choose: by call or email.
• Every request is confirmed by a person, so a little notice helps. With one RV in the fleet, its best dates go first.

Please give us accurate details and a phone number or email address where we can reach you.

Every rental needs:

• A valid driver’s license for anyone who drives the vehicle. Bring yours to the hand-off: Nevada law has us check it in person before you drive away.
• A credit or debit card to pay for your rental.
• A security deposit of $250 for standard drivers or $750 for young drivers.

Ask us before you book

• Younger drivers. Call (775) 235-8633 and we’ll walk you through the requirements.
• Coverage. Ask us and we’ll go over coverage for your rental.
• Rideshare drivers. Tell us which platform you drive for, and we’ll go over its current vehicle requirements with you.

We accept credit cards and debit cards. You pay for your rental, plus a security deposit, once we’ve confirmed availability and your vehicle with you. Sending a request doesn’t charge your card.

We confirm the deposit amount with you before anything is booked, and walk you through how your deposit is handled for your rental, including when it’s returned.

Our forms never ask for card details, so please leave them out of your request.

We don’t publish rates online yet. Send a request with your dates and vehicle, or call (775) 235-8633, and we’ll give you a quote.

Delivery fees may apply to airport or custom-location hand-offs on rentals shorter than four days. Ask about the fee for your dates when you send your request.

If you have a question about anything else that could change your total, ask us before you book.

We don’t have a public storefront. We meet you with the vehicle at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) or a Reno-area spot you choose, like your hotel, home or office, and confirm the hand-off details ahead of time.

We serve Reno, Sparks and the surrounding area. If your trip starts somewhere else nearby, call us and we’ll tell you whether we can meet you there.

Return the vehicle at the time and place we agree on when we confirm your booking. Airport rentals can be returned at RNO when you fly out.

Right now we rent economy cars, four AWD SUVs and one RV. You choose the type of vehicle, and we confirm the exact vehicle with you when you book. See what’s available on our fleet page.

Photos on this site show the type of vehicle, not the exact one you’ll drive, and the specs we list are typical for the type.

Sedans, trucks, vans, luxury vehicles, box trucks and dump trailers are on the way and can’t be booked yet.

Child car seats, camping gear and roof pods are add-ons you can ask about. Mention what you need in your request and we’ll tell you what we can add.

Our SUVs are all-wheel drive, but AWD alone doesn’t satisfy every chain control. Controls can go up on Mt. Rose Highway, I-80 and the roads around Lake Tahoe.

Before you head up, check Nevada DOT (nvroads.com) and Caltrans QuickMap, follow posted chain controls and closures, and ask us about winter equipment when you book.

Airport, rideshare, long-term and corporate rentals work like any other request: choose the program when you send it, and we confirm the details with you before anything is booked.

• Airport rentals. Meet your vehicle at RNO and return it there when you fly out.
• Rideshare rentals. Set up for Uber and Lyft drivers. We go over your platform’s current vehicle requirements with you before you book; whether a vehicle is approved for a platform is up to that platform.
• Long-term rentals. For relocations, seasonal work or the stretch between vehicles, without rebooking every few days.
• Corporate rentals. One point of contact handles every booking for your team.

Information on this site. We work to keep it accurate and current, but vehicles, programs and other details can change. What we confirm with you for your rental is what applies.

Fair use. Use the site and its forms for real questions and requests. Don’t send spam or automated or misleading submissions, or try to disrupt the site or get around its protections.

Our content. The Camo Rentals name, logo, text and site design are ours. Photos are used under their photographers’ licenses and credited at the foot of every page.

Other websites. Links to other sites, like Nevada DOT, Caltrans and our photographers’ pages, are there for your convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for them.

No warranties. The site is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses that come from using it or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that the law doesn’t allow us to limit.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada.

We may update these terms as we grow, for example when new vehicles or programs arrive. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page.
