Booking and reservations
6 questionsHow requests work, what to include and what happens next.
How do I reserve a vehicle?
Send a reservation request from any page (choose Reserve), or call (775) 235-8633. Tell us your dates, the vehicle you want and where you’re arriving. We confirm availability and your vehicle with you before anything is booked.
Is sending the form a confirmed booking?
No. The form sends a request, and nothing is booked until we confirm availability, your vehicle and the deposit details with you. Sending a request doesn’t charge your card.
Do I pay anything when I send a request?
No. Sending a request doesn’t charge your card. You pay by credit or debit card, plus a security deposit, once we’ve confirmed availability and your vehicle with you.
How far ahead should I book?
As soon as you know your dates. Every request is confirmed by a person, so a little notice helps. With only one RV in the fleet, its best dates go first.
What should I include when I reach out?
Your dates, the vehicle you’re interested in, where you’d like to meet (RNO or a Reno-area spot) and the best way to reach you. Flying in? Add your flight number, and mention any add-ons you’d like to ask about, like a child car seat, a roof pod or camping gear.
What if my plans change?
Call (775) 235-8633 as soon as they do, and we’ll go over the options for your booking.
Pick-up, delivery and returns
6 questionsAirport hand-offs, delivery to a Reno-area spot and getting the vehicle back to us.
Do you deliver to Reno-Tahoe International Airport?
Yes. Many of our hand-offs happen at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO), and we can also meet you at a custom location in the Reno area. Delivery fees may apply to airport or custom-location hand-offs on rentals shorter than four days.
Is there a rental counter I can visit?
We don’t have a public storefront. Instead, we meet you with the vehicle at Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) or at a Reno-area spot you choose, like your hotel, home or office.
Can you bring the vehicle to my hotel, home or office?
Yes, if it’s in the Reno area. Choose “Another Reno-area location” when you send your request and tell us where. We confirm the hand-off details ahead of time.
Is there a delivery fee?
Delivery fees may apply to airport or custom-location hand-offs on rentals shorter than four days. Ask about the fee for your dates when you send your request.
How do returns work?
You return the vehicle at the time and place we agree on when we confirm your booking. Airport rentals can be returned at RNO when you fly out.
Which areas do you serve?
Reno, Sparks and the surrounding area. If your trip starts somewhere else nearby, call us and we’ll tell you whether we can meet you there.
Rates, payments and deposits
5 questionsGetting a quote, the cards we take and the security deposit.
How much does a rental cost?
We don’t publish rates online yet. Send a request with your dates and vehicle, or call (775) 235-8633, and we’ll give you a quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards and debit cards. Debit cards require a security deposit, and we confirm the amount with you before anything is booked.
Can I rent with a debit card?
Yes. Debit cards are welcome, as well as credit cards. Debit payments require a security deposit, and we confirm the amount up front.
How much is the security deposit?
The security deposit is $250 for standard drivers and $750 for young drivers. If you’re a younger driver, call us before you book and we’ll walk you through the requirements.
When do I get my deposit back?
Ask us when you book, and we’ll walk you through how your deposit is handled for your rental.
Drivers and coverage
2 questionsTwo things to ask us about before you book.
Is there an age requirement to rent?
If you’re a younger driver, call (775) 235-8633 before you book and we’ll walk you through the requirements. The security deposit for young drivers is $750.
Do I need my own insurance?
Ask us before you book. Call (775) 235-8633 and we’ll go over coverage for your rental.
Vehicles and add-ons
6 questionsWhat’s in the fleet today, what’s coming and the extras to ask about.
What vehicles can I rent?
Right now: economy cars, four AWD SUVs and one RV. Sedans, trucks, vans, luxury vehicles, box trucks and dump trailers are on the way. You can also ask about planned add-ons like child car seats, camping gear and roof pods.
Are your SUVs all-wheel drive?
Yes. All four of our SUVs are all-wheel drive, with room for passengers, luggage and gear: a good fit for Lake Tahoe and mountain roads. AWD alone doesn’t satisfy every chain control, so check road conditions before you head up in winter.
Can I choose an exact make and model?
You choose the type of vehicle: an economy car, an AWD SUV or the RV. We confirm the exact vehicle with you when you book.
Can I rent your RV?
Yes. Our one RV is built for camping weekends, Pyramid Lake getaways and longer Nevada road trips. With a single unit in the fleet, the best dates go first, so request it early and ask about camping gear when you do.
Do you have child car seats, roof pods or camping gear?
They’re add-ons you can ask about. Mention what you need in your request and we’ll tell you what we can add.
Are more vehicles coming?
Yes. Sedans, trucks, vans, luxury vehicles, box trucks and dump trailers are on the way, with no dates yet. Ask and we’ll tell you what’s coming.
Rental programs
4 questionsRideshare, long-term and corporate rentals.
Do you offer long-term and corporate rentals?
Yes to both. Long-term rentals cover extended periods, so you aren’t rebooking every few days. Corporate rentals keep businesses and their teams moving; call us to set up rentals for your team.
How do I ask about rideshare, long-term or corporate rentals?
Choose “Rental programs” in our contact form and tell us what you need: the platform you drive for, how long you need a vehicle, or how many people on your team will drive. You can also call us to talk it through.
How long can I rent for?
A weekend, a week or something longer. Long-term rentals are part of the plan, not an exception: tell us your dates and we’ll go from there.
Winter and mountain trips
4 questionsLake Tahoe, the ski resorts, chain controls and day trips from Reno.
Which vehicle is best for Lake Tahoe or the ski resorts?
An AWD SUV: all four are all-wheel drive, with room for skis, bags and gear. Lake Tahoe is about 45–60 min from Reno, and Mt. Rose about 35 min from RNO. Drive times are approximate and change with traffic, weather and season.
Are your SUVs ready for winter mountain roads?
They’re all-wheel drive, but AWD alone doesn’t satisfy every chain control. Controls can go up on Mt. Rose Highway, I-80 and the roads around the lake, so check Nevada DOT and Caltrans before you head up, and ask us about winter equipment when you book.
Where can I check road conditions?
Nevada DOT (nvroads.com) covers Nevada roads, and Caltrans QuickMap covers California, including the roads around Lake Tahoe. Check both before you head up, especially in winter.
Where can I go on a day trip from Reno?
Plenty within about an hour: Lake Tahoe (about 45–60 min from Reno), Mt. Rose & Tahoe ski resorts (about 35 min from RNO), Virginia City (about 40 min from Reno) and Pyramid Lake (about 45 min north of Reno). Drive times are approximate and change with traffic, weather and season.
