Privacy policy

This policy explains what Camo Rentals (“we”, “us”) collects when you use camo-rentals.com, call us or email us, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

Renting with us is covered by our terms and conditions.

When you send a request or message. Our reservation and contact forms ask for:

• Your name, and a phone number, an email address or both
• How you’d like us to reply: by call or email
• For a reservation: the vehicle type, rental type, pick-up and return dates, and where you’d like to meet (RNO or a Reno-area spot you describe)
• For a rental program question: the program you’re asking about
• Anything you write in your notes or message, like a flight number or add-ons to ask about

When you call or email us. Your phone number or email address and whatever you share with us. Our phone and email providers keep a history of calls and emails, as any phone or email service does.

When you rent. What we need to complete your rental, including payment details and the record Nevada law requires rental companies to keep: your name and address, and your driver’s license number with where and when it was issued.

When you visit. Our hosting provider receives the technical information any website gets with each visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request and when. When you send a form, we also hold your IP address briefly, in memory only, to limit repeated submissions. It isn’t saved with your request.

What we don’t collect. This site doesn’t ask for your location and can’t use your camera or microphone. Our forms never ask for payment card or driver’s license numbers.

We use personal information to:

• Answer your question or request, the way you asked us to reply
• Quote, confirm and arrange your rental: availability, your vehicle, the hand-off, payment and the security deposit
• Keep in touch about your booking, from hand-off details to your return
• Keep the site and our forms secure and free of spam
• Keep the records the law requires, meet our tax and accounting obligations and resolve disputes

We don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t sell it.

We share personal information only in these cases:

• Service providers. Companies that run parts of our business for us: website hosting, delivering form submissions to our inbox, payment processing, and our phone and email services. They receive it only to provide those services to us.
• When the law requires it. The rental record Nevada law requires us to keep is open to inspection by police and the Nevada DMV. We also share information to answer valid legal requests, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our customers, our business or others.
• If our business changes hands. If Camo Rentals is sold or reorganized, your information may be transferred as part of the business, and this policy would still apply to it.

We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it with other companies for their own marketing.

This site doesn’t use advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party trackers. No third party collects information through our site about your online activity over time or across other websites.

Our fonts and photos are served from our own site, so loading a page doesn’t contact outside font or image services.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We don’t track you across websites or sell your information, so there’s nothing for these browser signals to switch off. Every visit is treated the same way.

We keep requests, messages and rental records for as long as we need them to answer you, complete your rental and meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. When we no longer need them, we delete them.

Our hosting provider keeps technical logs for a limited time to run and secure the site.

This site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Form submissions are emailed only to our own inbox, and our forms refuse posts from other websites and limit repeated submissions.

No website or inbox is perfectly secure, so please keep payment card numbers out of forms and emails. If you think your information has been misused, contact us right away.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we have about you
• Correct anything that’s wrong
• Delete your information, unless we need to keep it for an active rental or a legal, tax or accounting reason
• Contact you a different way, or stop contacting you about a request

Email info@camo-rentals.com or call (775) 235-8633. We’ll confirm it’s you before we act, usually by replying to the email address or number you used with us.

Nevada residents. We don’t sell covered information as Nevada law defines it. You can still direct us not to sell it by emailing info@camo-rentals.com, our designated address for these requests.

California residents. We don’t share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.

This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Our site links to other websites, like Nevada DOT and Caltrans for road conditions and our photographers’ pages. Their privacy practices are their own, so check their policies when you visit.

When we update this policy, we change the date at the top of this page and note any significant change there too.
